SHOHOLA RESIDENTS FOR CONSERVATION IN LAND USE AND DEVELOPMENT

As a resident of Shohola Township I am dedicated to the conservation and preservation of our environment, the natural beauty that we enjoy throughout our rural countryside and the exceptional quality of the water in our watershed.

Accordingly, I implore the Shohola Township Planning Commission and Supervisors to preserve and protect our environment in their review and revision of Shohola’s Subdivision and Land Development Ordinances (SALDO).   I am opposed to any SALDO revisions that will weaken the environmental design and open spaces concepts of the current o rdinances.   I am vehemently opposed to changes or revisions to Shohola’s Zoning Ordinances that would facilitate natural gas drilling in our township.
